Owner and Founder

Sami's cutting edge leadership in the industry has earned him an international reputation with his work being featured in many fashion magazines in the United States and Europe. Sami's recognition has also included local and national television exposure. He has studied, performed and competed in his art form, working with top fashion photographers and models throughout the world- including Jordan, Greece, England, Canada, Korea, France and all through the United States. But it was in Wichita, Kansas that he captured the entrepreneurial spirit and opened Sami Halaseh Salon, a leading salon with an emphasis on customer service, and an interest in educating clients, staff and others about health and beauty trends and issues.

Anthony started his career in the hair industry over 22 years ago in New York. His vast knowledge of hair allows him to customize your color or haircut to your personality. Anthony enjoys being a mentor in the salon as he is licensed in both cosmetology and barbering. In addition to color and haircuts, he offers Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments and hair extensions. One visit with Anthony and you will see the true difference positivity and skill can make not only to your hair but to your whole salon experience!    

Esthetician

Jaime started her career over ten years ago in Wichita. She has a background in medical esthetics and spent over 3 years as an esthetics instructor. Her experience and passion for all things skin speak for themselves in the treatment room. From her personalized skin treatments to her calming nature, she makes sure each guest leaves not only looking but feeling refreshed. Her extensive knowledge and client education provides solutions for each client's unique, long term needs.

Stylist 

 

Oz is new to Wichita and looking to build his clientele here. Oz was voted one of the top five best hairstylists in Kansas City in 2013 by KC Magazine. He comes with over 20 years of experience in women's haircutting and men's scissor-over-comb. He is also a certified Deva Curl Specialist and trained in smoothing treatments. While living in Dallas, Oz worked for the prestigious Jose Eber, where he gained all the skills and knowledge of beautiful hair.

Hello! I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. I have always had a passion for fashion and style. After beginning college with a completely different degree in mind, I switched to cosmetology school. I graduated at Eric Fisher Academy and began my career as a stylist at Sami Halaseh Salon in 2012. I love to connect with people while practicing my skill!

Angie retired from the Pizza Hut Corporate Office after 40 wonderful years! Now she loves visiting with all the clients and making sure they have a great experience at the salon

I grew up in the salon environment mainly with my mother. My aunt was also a hairstylist and my cousins and I would hang out in the Eric Fisher breakroom when we visited. My mother worked at JcPenney's in the mall for a few years eventually going out on her own. She opened her first business in Sedgwick Kansas. I helped her after school until I basically became her assistant. She taught me all the skills and techniques of a stylist. Her clients would always ask me if I wanted to be a stylist and I would always answer with a resounding NO! I had no interest in following in her footsteps. After my senior year, it was time to decide on a direction and I had no idea what I wanted to pursue. My mother convinced me to go to cosmetology since I already had a strong base knowledge of the work. I finished my first semester and attended Vernon's School of Cosmetology in my second semester in 2006. Going through school I fell in love with the art of hair and enjoyed the freedom and artistry of being creative while making people happy. While attending school, I met my future husband who was also attending the same school. We now work together in the same salon doing what we love with one another. 

Salon/Spa Manager

Rachel graduated cosmetology school in 2012 and has been in the beauty industry ever since. She specialized in men's haircuts but has found her true passion assisting guests with their product needs and greeting everyone with a positive attitude at the front desk. Outside of work, she owns a visual arts company.
